Kristi "Thankful Me" volg.
To stay sane in difficult times it's a good idea to remember every now and than all the great things that enrich your life. Every night before I go to sleep (or lay awake) I try to remind myself of all the wonderful things that make my life worth living. I started to do this since visiting Kristi's blog "Thankful me". Every sunday she has a special topic on that, together with a big group of people, who list ten things of thankfulness each week. I never joined in, because - to be honest - I never get to ten without repeating myself on a regular base. I find it very enlightning to read her weekly list though. It's so often the little things that do the trick.
Dus, dat is mijn poging om zo ook weer wat regelmatiger te bloggen, wat positiever te bloggen en mijzelf bewust te maken van alle mooie dingen om me heen, zonder alleen de "dagelijkse" dingen te zien.
On Facebook there is sort of a simular thing going on, wich I joined yesterday. For five days naming a thing that makes you happy. Thát's even do-able for me! It also seemed a good idea to try to keep this up a little longer here. There has to be at least one thing a day that makes me happy?!
So, this will be my attempt to blog a little more regular and blog a little more positiv and make myself more aware of all the lovely things surrounding me.
Yesterday I shared a picture of my lovely lunch on Facebook; two petit pains fresh from the oven topped with roast beef. Oh dear, how wonderful! Since I no longer have that gastric band, I can enjoy those kind of lovely lunches again. Joined with a glass of milk my lunch was complete.
Today I placed some pictures I took last night in bed. I always read before I go to sleep, surrounded by my furry babies. Arie and Dirk always lay right beside me, Bram wants to lay on my stomach and Cees crawls around my head on my pillow. But, before that, Cees always want to play and be silly for a while first. Just plain silly, chasing his tail (and always falling of the bed while doing so) and just be a wild child for a bit. Yesterday he found the string of the camera wildly attractive and I made some funny yet blurry action pictures.
What makes you happy??
