Today my dear American friend Misha finally received her present I send her (june 7th allready!). Remember the horse quilt I made my sister? Well, I made Misha one too. Just a little different, a different background fabric and some other fabrics for the horse itself and even used gold thread in the manes. Just to give it that little bit of "southern bling" so to say....
Ik heb ze in elk geval met veel liefde gemaakt, voor beide paarden-vrouwen trouwens. Mijn deel om schoonheid in deze wereld te brengen, vind ik.
She send me an email about an hour ago and it was filled with exclamation points!!! I'm so glad she likes it! I kinda suspected she would, being a horsy-girl of course, but it's always a bit of a gamble. Well, I'm grateful for such a sweet friend, even when we only email and read eachothers blog, but she feels a bit of a big sister. Maybe because she has a lot in common with my big sister... who knows.
I made it with lots of love, for both of them horsy-ladies that is. My share of bringing beauty in this world I guess.
Normaal snij ik foto's bij, maar hier was de avondzon zo mooi dat ik deze zo gehouden hebt.
Normally I cut the pictures without stuff showing, but the evening sun was so beautiful I kept this one original.
